Here’s a list I’ve compiled of the Photoshop shortcuts I use daily. This would be a good list to keep around for reference; hopefully, it should save you a bit of time, and a few headaches from trying to find options in the menus.

Document Management
- Create a new document: Ctrl+N
- Close current document: Ctrl+W
- Image size: Alt+Ctrl+I
- Canvas size: Alt+Ctrl+C
Interface
- Toggle interface: Tab
- Toggle interface ‘fluff’ : Shift+Tab
- Change screen modes: F
Layers
- New layer (with options): Ctrl+Shift+N
- New layer (no options): Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N
- New layer (copy): Ctrl+J
- Merge down: Ctrl+E
Colors and Fills
- Fill menu: Shift+F5
- Fill with foreground color: Ctrl+Backspace
- Fill with background color: Alt+Backspace
- Hue and Saturation: Ctrl+U
- Levels: Ctrl+L
- Curves: Ctrl+M
- Toggle quickmask mode: Q
Selection
- Select all: Ctrl+A
- Deselect: Ctrl+D
- Inverse selection: Ctrl+I
Tool Shortcuts
- Brush: B
- Marquee: M
- Move: V
- Type/Text: T
Misc Tips and Shortcuts
- Easy move: Hold down the spacebar, click to move.
- Undo/Redo: Ctrl+Z
- Undo only: Ctrl+Alt+Z

You forgot one of my most favourite PhotoShop shortcuts:
Free Transform: Ctrl+T
^^^This is my most used shortcut, it’s great for resizing images and graphics!

Wow, I can’t believe I didn’t know about the Alt+Ctrl+Z thing to undo more than once!
