About Steel Frog

My name is Eric. I’m 25 years old, currently employed as a full-time graphic/web designer at the Government of Canada. I run this blog during evenings and weekends for fun. I’m also the owner of a freelance design business with two partners, dated to launch some time in 2009. I’ve been designing websites since I was 14 years old; a tale I will save for another day.

If you’ve glanced at just a few of my posts, it’s pretty obvious that I’m also a pretty big gamer. You can find me playing a variety of games, mostly on the XBOX 360 but I’m also found on the PS3 and PC.

My specialty lies in interface and website design, XHTML and CSS. I also design logos, business cards and other marketing materials.

I launched steelfrog.com about two years ago. It was originally meant as a portfolio which and slowly evolved itself into a blog. There unfortunately is very little history behind the name and the domain; it was simply registered when my previous website went belly-up.

Can you help me with your tutorial, or do it for me?

The best way to get help on a tutorial is to simply post a comment as I keep a close eye on them. I will not complete your images for you. If you’re having a hard time with a particular section of the article, let me know and I’ll try to clarify the process or re-write that section when necessary.

Are you available for work?

Sure am. Just get in touch with me and I’ll get the ball rolling. Keep in mind that I only do freelance work during evenings and weekends when time allows, so don’t expect me to have it done by yesterday. If you’re not in a hurry, then I’d love to hear from you.
