Only a few days after launching my new blog design, I’ve already received a couple of e-mails from other WordPress users asking me how I implemented the registration and login function of my blog from the front page, and the answer couldn’t be any simpler. Using a few simple preset PHP functions and a couple of specific name values, we can let users register, login and log out from anywhere we want.

Create a clean, trendy and stylish header

In this tutorial, we’ll create a trendy header design that’s very clean, trendy and sleek with no gimmicky tricks.

We’ll be creating stylized clouds, add some texture, apply layer styles, create sparkle effects, design drip patterns and even a city backdrop and how to use fonts.

This tutorial will take a while to complete as it is a bit long and detailed. It is also meant for Photoshop users who are already fairly knowledgeable with the interface, loading patterns, and using marquees. If you know the basics, you should do just fine. Split a photo into two distinct sides

In this tutorial, we’ll be taking a photo and splitting it in two. One side of the photo will be light and colorful while the other in contrast, will be dark, evil and brooding. This is a complete re-write of my popular tutorial. With the new design, I figured it was time to update the tutorial and improve some of the confusing steps.

I’m assuming you have general knowledge of Photoshop, know how to use various layer blending modes and applying brushes. If you have any questions or have problems with a step, be sure to leave a comment and let me know.
