Oh, by the way, I did re-try Asheron’s Call after we met a few weeks ago and it worked just fine. I had a hard time playing it again since I forgot about the game’s camera but it was fun to relive the past for a few hours.

But yeah man, I’d go back to AC for the hell of it any time if I still had an account. I’ve been playing Aion Online recently but it’s just not the same.

Oh dude, you know you want to go back to AC. I did for one week while I was in Resolute. in less then 2 days I reached lvl 48. Oh man that was a blast to See and Feel AC once more.

AC was a great game and it enabled me to play the game how I wanted. Despite everyone else wanting an uber magic only (mage with a pointy stick i called them) I played UA melee with item and life. Life couldn’t go that high of course but I didn’t care, I had a ball with the toon. I’m one who also LOVED AC2, that game was the best for casual play whether solo or grouping. I really wish they’d have made an offline version when they pulled the plug on it but I suspect the technology, engine, etc… was cannabilized for DDO.

People….People, with the economy in the crapper, you have to ask yourself….Is $12.95/month that much for the umpteen hours of enjoyment playing AC!!! Come to thistledown and relive the glory. Or go back to your orginal server, they have saved everyone characters so you will be there……..just waiting to fight once more!

I absolutely loved AC. Tons of great memories. I was a monarch on Morningthaw, played from the beta in early 1999 until 2002. SO much fun! Best MMO ever.

Holy crap, I remember AC!! I played on Thirstledown but quit hen I hit level 126 to go play WoW. It still seems like WoW is missing much polish compared to AC.

I’ve not played that much AC2, but I did try and get into it a few times.

It was pretty cool, but it had changed too much from the original. Why they decided to keep the Asheron’s Call name is beyond me. I do miss some of the sound effects though; especially the “Quest Advanced” queues. I wish World of Warcraft would have those.
